The Ruxley Foundation aims to improve the quality of life, social inclusion and social mobility of residents in Epsom & Ewell.
The charity was founded in April 2018 by Alex Coley. It is funded by donations and has mostly focused its grant making on supporting disadvantaged children.

Alex Coley
Chair of Trustees
Alex founded the Ruxley Foundation to improve the quality of life, social inclusion and social mobility for local residents. Alex is also a borough councillor for Ruxley Ward.
With a long history in digital technology, Alex has worked in central and local government, the emergency services and NHS charities as well as the private sector.

John Moffatt
Treasurer
John has worked in the publishing industry for the last twenty years. Married to Caroline with two young sons, John is a keen cyclist and enjoys spending time with his family.
John has worked as a volunteer at Kingston Hospital Radio and more recently with a local Residents Association.

Monica Butler
Trustee
Monica has lived in Ewell since 2016 having moved in stages out from inner London where she grew up. Monica lives with her husband and young family and has made Ewell her network in place of family who live further away.
An Irish Dancing teacher of many years teaching in Bourne Hall, as well as a background in Local Government, Monica brings passion to being a bridge and a voice between the community and institutions and all those of all ages.

Dan Addison
Trustee
Originally from Carlisle, Dan has called Ewell home since 2015, where he lives with his wife and young family. Deeply rooted in the local community, Dan brings both professional insight and personal commitment to his role as a trustee.
With a background in programme leadership and a strong passion for helping others, Dan is driven by a desire to make a meaningful difference to those who need it most.
